Hello! I am Ramas Mcrae, a Deaf, Auslan trainer and mentor from Victoria, Australia. I have had access to sign language and Deaf culture from birth, giving me a strong foundation in visual communication and a deep understanding of Deaf identity.
Since 2005, I have worked as a consultant specialising in Deaf-led initiatives. I also enjoy supporting interpreters and interpreting students by mentoring and offering insight into Deaf cultural norms, language use, and community expectations. My goal is to help bridge the gap between Deaf and hearing worlds through a strengths-based, collaborative approach.
