Based in Wollongong, NSW, Paula Bun is an experienced Auslan interpreter and native signer who has been interpreting for almost 25 years. She is also a passionate potter and owner of PUD Ceramics Studio.

Paula offers one-to-one mentoring for $100 AUD per hour with a relaxed and flexible approach. If you’re local or happy to travel to Wollongong, mentoring doesn’t have to mean sitting through a formal Zoom meeting. You can grab a coffee and walk along one of Wollongong’s beautiful beaches, or even make some pottery together while chatting about interpreting, professional challenges, navigating interpreter bullying, burnout prevention, work-life balance or anything else you need to get off your chest. 

Paula also facilitates group mindful pottery sessions for interpreters and interpreting students as well as the Deaf community, creating welcoming spaces to connect, switch off and get creative. Classes can happen anywhere within Australia and be tailored to individuals or groups, with pricing determined on an individual basis.
